Blanca is a medical esthetician and laser practitioner. She has been in the industry for over 40 years. Blanca has a true passion for skincare and has worked the entire of her professional life to grow her knowledge of skin rejuvenation. Blanca has worked with plastic surgeons in Atlanta, ran her own spa business for over 10 years, and eventually decided to work with Dr. Sunit Singhal in 2005 and has remained with Suburban Med Spa ever since. Blanca has helped to grow our practice and many of our patients think of her as “family.” Blanca specializes in medical-grade skincare, facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser, and dermaplaning. As Blanca says, “The best accessory is good skin, so it’s absolutely worth the investment.”
Chelsea Thaw - Medical Esthetician &
Laser Practicioner
It all begins with a passion. Chelsea’s passion for makeup and skincare led her to pursue a career in esthetics. In 2013, Chelsea attended Mississippi Institute for Aesthetics, Nails, and Cosmetology. Shortly after graduating her esthetics program, she completed advanced continuing-education courses to become certified in dermaplaning, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, laser, and advanced medical facials. Chelsea enjoys working with clients struggling with acne and acne scars, as well as treating age-related concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles. Her favorite thing about working in the industry is being able to see the transformation in client’s skin and help them to attain more confidence. Chelsea ran her own spa business in Mississippi before deciding to move to Georgia and focus on the medical side of skincare under the supervision of Dr. Sunit Singhal.
Amber Duarrani PA-C -Physician Assistant/ Master Injector
Amber Duarrani is a certified Physician Assistant who completed her masters in Physician Assistant studies from Emory University's School of Medicine, where she graduated with the Pi Alpha National Honors for PAs. She is board certified through the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Georgia Medical Composite Board.
Amber has background training in emergency medicine and is currently practicing in family and internal medicine. She has extensive master-level training in and is certified in administering neurotoxins, dermal fillers and kybella injections. She is also certified in hormone pellet replacement therapy, medical hair loss therapies, PRP (platelet rich plasma) for the face and scalp, advanced acne procedures, cosmetic sclerotherapy techniques, medical weight loss, IV nutrition, and other anti-aging procedures.
Amber is originally from Chicago, IL and currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and 2 sons. She has worked for Suburban Medical Spa since 2016 and continues to devote her time, commitment, and passion to the field of medical aesthetics.
Dr. Sunit Singhal - Medical Director/Master Injector
Emanuel Safiyev- Registered Nurse
Emanuel is a registered nurse and has been working in the medical field for over ten years. He graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing back in 2018. Prior to that, he worked as a medical assistant here at Suburban Medical Center and Suburban Med Spa. He is currently enrolled in the Nurse Practitioner program at Mercer University with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025. Emanuel is passionate about the field of esthetics and has received several certifications to bring his expertise into our spa. He is a certified nurse injector and is familiar with Botox, Juvéderm, Restylane and Jeaveau. Emanuel, alongside Dr. Singhal, also runs our impressive IV infusion program that offers a variety of infusions including: NAD+ therapy, Immunity Boost, Migraine Drip, Reboot, or a custom cocktail of vitamins tailored to the patient’s needs. He also offers injectables such as MIC+ B12 (“the skinny shot”), Toradol, Vitamin B12, Glutathione, and more.
Mia Barati- Licensed Massage Therapist/ CNMT
Professionally licensed massage therapist Mia Barati joined our team back in 2021. Mia trained locally at AHSA School of Massage and Wellness Center in Norcross, GA. In 2005, she graduated from an 800 - hour program, earning certificates in Neuromuscular Therapy, Clinical Sports, and Swedish massage and thus began her private practice. In 2008, Mia accepted a teaching position as well as management of the Student Massage Clinic at her school of alumni, influencing the future of the industry until 2013. Mia also gained valuable insight as she worked alongside chiropractors, physicians, nutritionists, and more in multiple wellness centers. With extensive knowlege of anatomy and phyisology, and advanced training in Neuromuscular Therapy, she specializes in integrating her techniques to diligently treat conditions. Continuing her education, Mia expands her knowledge earning certificates in more than ten (10) additional techniques. Her experience in caring for car accident victims, athletes, the elderly and everyone in between, honed her skills, allowing her to accommodate a variety of ailments for a diverse clientele. Every session is thoughtfully designed and customized ensuring a meticulous treatment based on each clients’ needs.
